Chirping on Trust for GBA

As part of the annual Summer Game Jam by IF(game)SH e.V., I developed a game for the Game Boy Advance over the course of a weekend in a team of three. My main responsibilities were pixel art, the web emulator, and the styling of the itch.io page. My teammates focused on technical feasibility and gameplay programming. We developed the game in Rust using the agb library, which also allowed us to load Aseprite files directly without having to export them first. In the end, this enabled us to compile a ROM and test it on an actual Game Boy by loading it via a microSD card into a flash cartridge.

My team members were Gracl & Zoltankost and it was really fun to work with them!

Here´s a blog about my expierience at the gamejam.
